Dive into the Ningaloo Reef

Ningaloo Reef, Australia’s only fringing reef and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a marine paradise with over 200 species of hard corals, various shark species, turtles, and some of the healthiest coral formations in the world. Depending on the season, you can see manta rays, whale sharks, and humpback whales from the boat and swim with them in the water.

Full-Day Snorkeling Adventure

This full-day tour takes you to the most spectacular locations. We welcome both divers and snorkelers on board to experience the reef’s beauty. Enjoy two snorkels on the Ningaloo Reef. You’ll encounter tropical fish, possibly turtles, and stunning coral structures. Between snorkels, we head into Batemans Bay, where our spotter plane searches for manta rays, giving you the chance to snorkel with these majestic creatures.

Diving and Snorkeling Ningaloo Reef

Our dive and snorkel sites feature beautiful coral reefs with depths ranging from 4m to 12m, with an average visibility of 10-15m. Water temperatures vary from 20°C in winter to 28°C in summer. All dives and snorkels are guided by trained PADI professionals, ensuring a safe and educational experience with a maximum group size of eight participants. Experience the vibrant coral structures and abundant marine life. From colourful fish and turtles to the occasional reef shark.

Relax and Recharge

After your morning of exploration, enjoy a buffet-style lunch on board, catered to all dietary requirements. While you relax and refuel, we cruise around the bay, searching for more marine life. Once satisfied, we return to the Ningaloo Reef for a final snorkeling session before heading back to Coral Bay.

What should I bring?

What else should I know before I go?

Each animal behaves differently—some are curious and calm, while others move quickly and seem uninterested in swimmers. On average, their slow pace is a brisk swim for us, so be ready for a lot of swimming throughout the day.
Conditions inside the reef are usually calmer and more sheltered. Our Manta Ray Interaction Tour stays inside the reef, offering relatively calm waters. Other tours venture outside to the open ocean, where conditions can vary from flat to swells up to a couple of meters.
Children must be 4 years or older and supervised by an adult at all times. If a child stays on the boat during a swim, an adult must stay with them.
Tour Operator provides a buffet style lunch on board and can accommodate for any dietary requirements.
Sunscreen is essential in the harsh Australian sun, but certain components can harm corals and marine life. We are a “reef safe sunscreen” operation, providing reef-safe sunscreen in-store and on our vessel. Full-length wetsuits are also available to minimise sunscreen use on our tours.

What is the cancellation policy?

If the Tour Operator cancels your tour due to weather or other reasons, you will receive a full refund.
If you need to change your tour date, you can do so for free by informing us at least 72 hours in advance, subject to availability.
If you cancel for any other reason, a cancellation fee will apply as per VANZ Travel’s terms and conditions on our website.
Cancellations made between 72 hours and 48 hours before the tour will occur 50% fee or have the option to change to another day (subject to availability).
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour are non-refundable.
Please note that the card fee is non-refundable.
