Perfect for anyone planning a Brisbane itinerary, a road trip from Brisbane or heading south from Cairns, this is a must-do stop for nature lovers and families alike.

For travellers who love short hikes or panoramic views, this area offers a perfect side adventure before or after your zoo visit. Stop at Glass House Mountains Lookout, where the entire volcanic range stretches before your eyes, or climb Mount Ngungun for sunrise or sunset — an easy trail with unbeatable views.

Brisbane What to Do? Meet Crocs, Koalas and 1,200 More Stars

Discover over 110 acres of wildlife paradise, where every path leads to a new animal encounter. From the moment you arrive, the sounds of cockatoos fill the air, while the scent of eucalyptus drifts through the Koala Walk. Feel the rush as you stand eye-to-eye with giraffes on the African Savannah, or watch saltwater crocodiles launch from the water during the famous Wildlife Warriors Show.

Touch, Learn, Connect – Australia Zoo Brings Conservation to Life

This isn’t just another zoo — it’s a living, breathing wildlife conservation centre, born from Steve and Terri Irwin’s dream. Every ticket supports real conservation projects across Australia and around the world. Touch the fur of a koala, feel the powerful energy of a giant crocodile, and discover why saving one animal can save a whole species.

From Brisbane Itinerary to Wildlife Hospital – Go Behind the Scenes

Step into the world’s busiest Wildlife Hospital and watch vets saving injured koalas, kangaroos and sea turtles. Whether you’re following a Queensland road trip itinerary or exploring what to do near Brisbane, this behind-the-scenes access makes Australia Zoo unlike anywhere else.

Australia Zoo – More Than a Day Out, It’s a Wildlife Mission

Every moment in Australia Zoo is about connection. Feel the ground vibrate under elephant footsteps. Smell the hay in the giraffe barn. Hear keepers sharing real stories about animal rescues and their fight to protect species on the edge. This is a full sensory experience that stays with travellers long after the day ends.

Why do we love "Australia Zoo 1 Day Ticket – Wildlife Adventure near Brisbane"

VANZ TRAVEL team

Chris  says: Visiting Australia Zoo with friends felt like stepping into a wildlife documentary, but without the screen. Crocodile eyes locked on ours, koalas slept just above our heads, and the smell of fresh eucalyptus mixed with popcorn from the snack stand. It’s wild and real, not a show – it’s Queensland’s heart beating just an hour from Brisbane.
