On a fully guided one-hour tour, you’ll descend into a subterranean cathedral of light and shadow. Marvel at massive stalagmites, delicate crystal straws — including one of the longest stalactites in any tourist cave in Australia — and vast, echoing chambers.
Your guide will bring the cave to life with stories of geology, time, and the region’s unique history — including the chilling tale of extinct Tasmanian Tigers that once fell into the cave and perished, their remains now part of the underground narrative.

Pick-up service is not included — all visitors must arrange their own transport to Jewel Cave.
Photography is encouraged from the designated viewing platforms, but for safety reasons, it is not recommended while walking on stairs.
Flash is allowed, though most visitors find they get better results using natural cave lighting.
Tripods and selfie sticks are not permitted inside the cave — this helps protect the delicate formations and ensures smooth, safe movement during tours.
Jewel Cave maintains a constant temperature of around 17°C year-round, so bring a light layer if needed.
Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Tours require a minimum of two adults to operate.
