Wilsons Promontory is about 220 km from Melbourne. Take the Monash Freeway (M1) and exit onto the South Gippsland Highway (M420). As you approach Meeniyan, turn right onto Meeniyan-Promontory Road (C444) and follow it through Fish Creek. Continue on C444 through Yanakie to Wilsons Promontory National Park. Once inside the park, it’s an additional 30-minute drive to Tidal River.
If you’re visiting for the day, be aware that parking at Tidal River can be limited, especially during peak periods. Please allow enough time to find parking before the tour starts.
