Description

Welcome to Exmouth

Exmouth, a charming town of about 2,500 people, is located just north of the Tropic of Capricorn, approximately 1,270 km north of Perth. With winter temperatures averaging 28°C and summer temperatures around 35°C, it’s an ideal destination for year-round adventures.

Dive into Ningaloo Reef

Ningaloo Reef, a World Heritage Site, is one of the largest fringing reefs in the world. Home to a diverse marine ecosystem, including over 250 species of coral and 500 species of fish, it promises an underwater paradise. From manta rays and turtles to the majestic whale sharks, the reef offers unparalleled snorkelling and diving experiences.

Up-Close Encounters

Experience the thrill of swimming with humpback whales in Exmouth. From August to November, witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Feel the excitement as you get up to 30 meters close to these gentle giants, hearing their enchanting songs underwater.

Snorkelling at Ningaloo Reef

As your morning snorkel concludes, our dedicated spotter plane locates the first whales of the day, guiding you to the outer reef. Alongside humpback whales, you might also see turtles, manta rays, dugongs, and dolphins, making each trip a unique adventure.

Swimming with Humpback Whales

Join us on an exciting whale swim & watching tour. We spend time observing these incredible creatures and give our swim guests an amazing in-water interaction when the whales are displaying their relaxed behaviours. From August 1st until the end of November, we operate tours where guests can enter the water with a group of 7 swimmers plus a guide & videographer, while non-swimming guests observe from the boat as close as 75 meters. This experience offers a unique opportunity for swimming with humpback whales in Exmouth.

Safety and Conditions

Before entering the water near a whale, swimmers must pass a quick in-water swimming assessment. Participants must be physically fit, over 13 years old, and have snorkelled within the past six months. Our tours, running from August to November, allow for groups of up to 7 swimmers plus a guide and videographer, ensuring a safe and intimate experience.

Memories to Treasure

Imagine gliding through the turquoise waters, surrounded by the vibrant corals of Ningaloo Reef. The awe and exhilaration of seeing a humpback whale up close, sharing the ocean with turtles, manta rays, and a myriad of colourful fish, is an experience that will stay with you forever.
