Snorkeling in Spectacular Settings

Enhance your experience by exploring the island’s underwater paradise. Bring your snorkeling gear or rent on-site to witness the vibrant marine life among the coral reefs, home to over 135 species of tropical fish and 20 types of coral. Dive into the crystal clear waters to explore colourful fish and historical shipwreck sites at your leisure.

Interesting Fact: The Cheerful Quokkas

Rottnest Island is famously home to the quokka, a small marsupial that’s often referred to as the “world’s happiest animal” due to its friendly presence and seemingly constant smile. Unique to Western Australia, quokkas are highly adaptive, able to survive the island’s scarce freshwater sources by eating succulent leaves that retain moisture. These charming creatures are not only a delight to encounter but also play a crucial role in the island’s ecosystem. Spotting a quokka is more than a photo opportunity. It’s a chance to connect with one of Australia’s most endearing and rare animals.

Encounters with Iconic Wildlife and Local Flavours

Keep your camera ready for those adorable quokka encounters as you pedal around the island. After a day of exploration, treat yourself to a ‘Cray Dog’ at The Lane—a local culinary delight featuring the fresh Western Rock Lobster. It’s the perfect way to refuel and savour the local flavours after an active day.

A Day to Treasure

This Rottnest Island Tour Ferry Return from Perth offers an unforgettable blend of natural beauty, thrilling adventure, and engaging wildlife encounters. From cycling and snorkelling to quokka spotting and gourmet eats, every moment is designed to enchant and excite.
