For your adventure we recommend bringing:

• Towel
• Sunscreen
• Hat and sunglasses
• Smartphone/Camera at your own risk
• Water bottle
• Change of clothes
• Lunch/extra snacks

Don’t worry about anything else. Everything is taken care of.

But it’s a good idea to pack some extra snacks because kayaking can make you hungry.

• The tour schedule provided is a general plan and might change due to factors like tide, wind, and weather conditions. We welcome participants of varying abilities and ages, although a basic level of fitness is required for sea kayaking. Most find paddling at Double Island Point to be relatively easy, with 75% of our participants being first-time kayakers, surfers, or stand-up paddleboarders.
• All our kayaks are Viking double sit-on-top models, known for their stability and user-friendly design. In cases where groups have an odd number of participants, the guide or another participant may accompany the odd person. We also offer specialized 2 plus 1 kayaks for two adults and a small child upon request. Kayak pairs and logistics are arranged by our guides to best suit the group on the day.
• Please be aware that there is a maximum weight limit of 100kg per participant for sea kayaking. Group sizes typically range from 5 to 15 participants, but we can accommodate up to 25.
• Departure times from Noosa Heads vary daily, usually scheduled around low tide to facilitate access to the National Park and Double Island Point via the beach. To view specific departure times, simply select your desired day on the calendar. If you need to change your pick-up location, please notify Epic Adventure at least 24 hours before the tour’s departure by calling 07 5372 8066.
• Any health or medical conditions must be disclosed to Epic Ocean Adventures staff before departure and noted on the participant declaration form. Participants should refrain from joining any activities if they have injuries, disabilities, or medical conditions that may increase the risk of injury unless Epic Ocean Adventures has been informed and authorised their participation. Those engaging in aqua tours & lessons must possess competent swimming skills.
• We advise against bringing valuable items like cameras, phones, and expensive sunglasses on the kayaks. If you do decide to bring this equipment along, it’s entirely at your own risk. We recommend that the equipment has something that floats attached to them and is completely waterproof.

• If Epic Adventure cancels your tour due to weather or other reasons, you will receive a full refund.
• In the event of unforeseen adverse weather conditions upon arrival at Double Island Point, a refund will not be provided, but instead, a lifetime voucher will be issued.
• Should you require a change of tour date, we offer flexibility at no additional cost. Simply notify us at least 8 days prior to your scheduled date, subject to availability.
• However, should you decide to cancel or change your plans for any other reason, a cancellation fee will be incurred according to VANZ Travel’s terms and conditions, available on our website.
• For cancellations made within 7 days to 3 days (72 hours) from the departure date, a refund will be issued minus a deposit charge of $35 per person by Epic Adventure, along with applicable cancellation fees according to VANZ Travel’s terms and conditions, available on our website. Alternatively, you may opt for a travel credit.
• Cancellations made less than 3 days (72 hours) before the tour date are non-refundable. Failure to show up on time is non-refundable.
• We highly recommend considering the option of receiving a 100% travel credit for future tours with Epic Ocean Adventures instead of cancelling. This credit remains valid for 36 months, providing ample time for future bookings.
• Please be aware that the card fee is non-refundable.
