Day 1
Exploring Alice Springs

Day 2
Start of the Road Trip
Van Pick-up
Embark on your journey towards Ayers Rock and get ready for a five-hour road trip. Along the way, several Roadhouses offer you the opportunity to dine and recharge.
Don’t miss the chance to take a break and admire Fooluru, also known as Mount Conner, sometimes mistaken for Uluru due to its similar shape. A viewpoint along the road provides a spectacular view of this majestic monolith. In the evening, head to Uluru for a memorable sunset experience from one of the various viewing points.

Day 3
Uluru Visit
Uluru (Ayers Rock) has been a sacred site for Aboriginal peoples for millennia. Start your day by witnessing the sunrise over this monolith. Then, set off for a hike around the Rock. The hiking trail that circumnavigates Uluru is approximately 10 kilometers long and offers magnificent views of the rock.

Be sure to visit the Uluru Cultural Centre: this must-see destination will allow you to learn more about Aboriginal culture. After your exploration, indulge in one of the many restaurants and cafes in Yulara, offering local dishes and bush specialties. Optionally, experience the Field of Light, which illuminates the night with thousands of colorful lights, providing a magical and enchanting spectacle that captivates visitors.

Day 4
Kata Tjuta
Just 50 km from Uluru lies the majestic site of Kata Tjuta, composed of 36 giant domes, offering an equally captivating experience. Start your day by admiring the sunrise, then continue with a helicopter flight over this site.
Be enchanted by the Valley of the Winds hiking trail, a 7-kilometer route that guides you through the spectacular rock domes of Kata Tjuta. It’s an ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this iconic location and reconnect with the majesty of the Australian landscape.

Day 5
Kings Canyon – Watarrka National Park
Embark on approximately four hours of driving to reach the Kathleen Springs Walk, a pleasant stroll that will lead you to a tranquil spring, perfect for a rejuvenating picnic break. Then, continue your journey to the George Gill Range, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. After fully enjoying this visual experience, hit the road again to Kings Canyon, where you can park your van at the campsite and indulge in a peaceful night.

Day 6
Kings Canyon – Watarrka National Park
For a memorable experience, start your day bright and early by opting for the Rim Walk hike, where you can admire the breathtaking views of the canyon from a loop of approximately 6 kilometers along its majestic rim, offering impressive panoramas of its spectacular rock formations and breathtaking landscapes. Then, continue your adventure by taking a short detour to the Garden of Eden, a lush oasis nestled at the bottom of the canyon, where tranquility and natural beauty await you.

Day 7
MacDonnell Ranges
For a complete experience, after savoring the wonders of the canyon, hit the road again for a three-hour journey towards Glen Helen Gorge, where crystal-clear waters gently lap against the red sandstone cliffs.
Next, continue your journey to the MacDonnell Ranges National Park and make a stop at Ellery Creek Big Hole for a refreshing swim. Explore one of the trails starting from Ellery Creek on a hike. Finally, end your day by taking the scenic route back to Alice Springs, leaving behind a day rich in adventures.
